The hand-forged blade's edge is Damascus, and its spine is hammered Damascus, giving it a rough-forged look. The handle is expertly wrapped in rayskin and black cord in the traditional Japanese style and the antique looking tsuba has an intricate dragon design. The included black, lacquered scabbard has a hand-painted, blue crackle design on its upper third and a hand-painted golden dragon that spans the rest of its length.
