The etched steel head shows a Vegvisir (Helm of Awe) on the blade, with knotwork across the top of the head. The dark ashwood handle is carved with a serpent and knot design, and the grip at the bottom is carved with a diamond-lattice and triangle pattern. The photos show the axe with a leather sheath.
